After reading the New York Times story on the fatal shooting of Raymond "Ready" Martinez I was floored. First and foremost I am not trying to dispute the facts of the event, but I want to address the poor tack the writers used in the portraying this man. The writers, Murray Weiss and Lukas I. Alpert, seem to super stereotypical and flat our racist in my personal opinion. I know the NY Times is known for their out of left field views but this is just straight up irresponsible! I dont know how they even get away with shit like this. I hope the family of the slain man can look past this piece that ran in the Times and just mourn the loss of their loved one.
